In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rothsay Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Pelican Rapids Vikings.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Panthers go into the Little Eight test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Parkers Prairie gained a win over Verndale (Verndale, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frazee for a Heart O'Lakes test on Thursday, September 4. Pelican Rapids will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 3-0.
