South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy Memorial was beaten by Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Mother Seton Setters (Clark, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - White test, on Thursday, September 4. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Setters go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 league win over South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
