With the win, St. Andrew's Episcopal improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Saints host Lake (Lake, MS) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 11-4. Lake won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Stringer (Stringer, MS)

The Tigers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Pisgah for a Class 3A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 4. Southeast Lauderdale will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Union (Union, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 5-4.
