Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX) and the host Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX), observed St. Paul's volleyball team top Yorktown by a count of 3-0.

The Cardinals (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hill Country Christian (San Marcos, TX). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Hill Country Christian notched a victory over Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louise for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 4. Yorktown will battle a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 11-6.
