Indiana High School Volleyball - Winchester Community over Union City

September 2, 2025: Union City, IN 47390

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Union City Indians.

The Golden Falcons (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Liberty, IN). The Patriots go into the Tri-Eastern test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Union County gained a win over Connersville (Connersville, IN), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Indians now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri for a Tri-Eastern test on Thursday, September 4. Union City will face a Titans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Union (Modoc, IN). The Titans record now stands at 2-4.

Match Summary

The Lady Falcons traveled to Union City Tuesday evening for a TEC Conference Match-up with the Lady Indians. In the Varsity Match, the Lady Falcons defeated the Lady Indians 3-0 with the following scores: 25-6, 25-10, 25-3 to improve to 11-2 on the season and 2-0 in Conference play. In the JV Match the Lady Falcons were also victorious beating the Lady Indians 2-0 with the following scores: 25-12 and 25-9. The Lady Falcons will be in action Thursday evening at Union County as they face the Lady Patriots in another TEC Conference Match-up. The JV Match will begin at 6:00 pm with the Varsity Match to follow. - Coach Matt
