The Caroline Cavaliers held off the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spotsylvania for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Caroline will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over King George (King George, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
The Yellow Jackets (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Chancellor was nudged by Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
