The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) and the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), saw Croatan's volleyball squad beat Dixon by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Croatan upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Richlands (Richlands, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Richlands won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Swansboro for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 22. Dixon will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 5-6.
