The Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team (Wilkesboro, NC), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC)

The Falcons (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Elkin went down by South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Wilkes Central will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC).
