The Hayfield Hawks topped the host Mount Vernon Majors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edison for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Hayfield will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Majors (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Annandale was knocked off by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
