With the win, South Caldwell moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Watauga (Boone, NC) to battle the Pioneers in a Northwestern 3A/4A bout on Monday, September 26. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Watauga lost 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
In their next game, the Knights battle the Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) in a Foothills Athletic bout, on Friday, September 23. Hickory Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 8-0 league win over University Christian (Hickory, NC).
