The Tigers now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Wheelersburg for a Southern Ohio II test on Thursday, September 22. Waverly will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 5-0 league win over South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Portsmouth West drops to 2-7 on the season. The Senators travel to St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH) to meet the Flyers in a non-league test on Monday, September 26. The Flyers come into the test with a record of 6-3. St. Joseph Central won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH)
