In Tuesday's league battle, the host Providence Panthers soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Rocky River CMS Athletics.
The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the Southwestern 4A battle with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Garinger knocked off Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the CMS Athletics battle the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A bout, on Thursday, September 22. Rocky River will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 4-2 league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
