The Mean Moose now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host James Irwin for a 3A Tri Peaks challenge on Thursday, September 22. Alamosa will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Gunnison falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to face the Panthers in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Friday, September 23. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Montezuma-Cortez won 22-6 in their recent league challenge against Aspen (Aspen, CO)
