The Pickens Dragons softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Dawson County Tigers to 0 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pickens moves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Dragons host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to clash with the Indians in a 3A Region 7 game on Thursday, September 22. The Indians come into the game with a record of 5-12. Lumpkin County lost 6-5 in their recent league game against White County (Cleveland, GA)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 21. Dawson County will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 4-1 league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA).
