Georgia High School Softball - Wesleyan bounces Gilmer

The Wesleyan Wolves routed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Wolves (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against White County (Cleveland, GA). The Warriors go into the 3A Region 7 battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, White County topped Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA), 6-5, in a league battle.

The Bobcats now sport a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to West Hall for a 3A Region 7 battle on Thursday, September 22. Gilmer will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-8.
