The Habersham Central Raiders softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Lanier Longhorns to 4 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Habersham Central improves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Raiders travel to Shiloh (Snellville, GA) to clash with the Generals in a 6A Region 8 game on Thursday, September 22. The Generals come into the game with a record of 6-11. Shiloh lost 10-3 in their recent league game against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA)

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA) in a 6A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, September 27. Lanier will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 14-7 record after their 12-0 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, GA).
