Georgia High School Softball - Tattnall County falls to Pierce County

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Pierce County Bears softball team scored a nice 9-1 triumph over the Tattnall County Warriors.

With the triumph, Pierce County moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Bears host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 3 contest on Thursday, September 22. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 9-10. Toombs County won 4-1 in their recent league contest against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a 2A Region 3 contest, on Thursday, September 22. Tattnall County will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 16-2 record after their 6-5 league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, GA).
