North Carolina High School Volleyball - Anson over Forest Hills

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) and the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), saw Anson's volleyball squad beat Forest Hills by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Anson upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cougars in a Rocky River 2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Central Academy won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Monroe (Monroe, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Stanly for a Rocky River 2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 22. Forest Hills will play a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Colts record now stands at 9-5.
