The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) and the visiting Apple Springs Eagles (Apple Springs, TX), saw Chester's volleyball squad beat Apple Springs by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Chester upgrades its record to 21-10 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Good Samaritan HomeSchool (Fred, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Leverett's Chapel for a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, September 23. Apple Springs will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Lions record now stands at 10-14.
