North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Point over Ashbrook

The South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) volleyball overcame the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to face the Pumas in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 21. The Pumas go into the outing with a record of 9-4. Palisades lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)

The Greenwave now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Huss for a Big South 3A outing on Thursday, September 22. Ashbrook will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-7.
