Next, the Hornets clash with the Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX) in a 4A Region II District 16 battle, on Friday, September 23. Athens will attempt to advance on its 11-18 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 17-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Van (Van, TX).
