The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Greeneville Green Devils (Greeneville, TN) and the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), saw Greeneville's volleyball squad beat Cherokee by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Greeneville upgrades its record to 18-3 on the year. The Green Devils travel to West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to play the Buffaloes in a AA District 2 bout on Thursday, September 22. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

The Chiefs now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Grainger for a non-league match on Thursday, September 22. Cherokee will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Grizzlies record now stands at 14-7.
