With the win, Eastside Early College upgrades its record to 4-12 on the year. The Panthers host Navarro (Austin, TX) to play the Vikings in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, September 23. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-10.

The Jaguars now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Travis for a 5A Region III District 24 test on Friday, September 23. LBJ Austin will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northeast Early College (Austin, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 2-21.
