In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Grady Bronchos volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Elida Tigers.
The Bronchos (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Floyd was edged by Clovis Christian (Clovis, NM), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Elida will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record.
