North Carolina High School Volleyball - Falls Lake over NCSSM: Durham

Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Firebirds battle the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A match, on Thursday, September 22. Falls Lake will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Princeton (Princeton, NC).

With the loss, NCSSM: Durham drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Unicorns travel to Durham Academy (Durham, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 22. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 10-4. Durham Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league match against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC)
