The Panthers (17-13) will now prepare for their battle against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 4 battle with a 17-14 record. In their last battle, V.R. Eaton achieved victory over Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Buffalos encounter the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 battle, on Friday, September 23. Haltom will attempt to advance on its 13-15 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 13-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX).
