In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Hebron Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Franklin County Lions.
The Lions (17-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Area 8 battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Hart County lost by Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a 3A Area 8 battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Franklin County will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Purple Hurricanes come into the battle with a 3-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Athens Christian (Athens, GA).
