The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Portsmouth Christian lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA)

The Warriors now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Broadwater Academy for a VISAA Metro bout on Thursday, September 22. Hampton Christian Academy will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-4.
