Ohio High School Volleyball - Westland can't hold off Grove City

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Grove City Greyhounds volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Westland Cougars.

The Greyhounds (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Eagles come into the Ohio Capital - Ohio battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, New Albany was edged by Westerville Central (Westerville, OH), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Ohio battle, on Thursday, September 22. Westland will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Golden Lions come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH).
