The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Olympian Eagles to 1 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonita Vista for a Metro Mesa game on Thursday, September 22. Mater Dei Catholic will meet a Barons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Barons record now stands at 17-4.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs enter the Metro Mesa game with a 15-5 record. In their last game, Otay Ranch was dropped by Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
