The Nansemond River Warriors volleyball team (Suffolk, VA), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA)

The Bruins (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the Southeastern challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Grassfield went down by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Nansemond River will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA).
