North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Stanly over Parkwood

In Tuesday's league contest, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Thursday, September 22. West Stanly will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC).

With the loss, Parkwood drops to 4-11 on the campaign. The Wolf pack host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to battle the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest on Thursday, September 22. The Redhawks come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Monroe lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
