The Rockcastle County Rockets volleyball team (Mt. Vernon, KY), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY)

The Lakers (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the District 16 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland County went down by Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rockets encounter the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a District 47 challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Rockcastle County will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record.
