The Van Alstyne Panthers volleyball team (Van Alstyne, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX)

The Indians (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Leopards enter the 4A Region I District 7 challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, Gainesville defeated Savoy (Savoy, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, September 23. Van Alstyne will attempt to move on its 15-13 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 24-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX).
