Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battle Mountain for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22.
With the loss, Eagle Valley falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Devils host Rifle (Rifle, CO) to face the Bears in a challenge on Thursday, September 28. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 11-2.
