North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Academy tips Gray Stone Day

September 20, 2023: Misenheimer, NC 28109

Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 21. Union Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the match with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC).

With the loss, Gray Stone Day drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, September 25. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 0-5.
