The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), saw Ashley's soccer squad triumph over West Brunswick by a count of 9-0.

The Screaming Eagle now hold a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Topsail for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, September 26. Ashley will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, West Brunswick drops to 4-5 on the season. The Trojans host New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, September 26. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-4. New Hanover won 4-2 in their recent league test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
