The Warhorses enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 7-1 league win over NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC).

The Patriots now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge on Monday, September 25. Madison will confront a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
