Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Stallions confront the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Southwest Onslow will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 5-2 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC).

The Blue Devils now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Duplin for a East Central 2A challenge on Monday, September 25. South Lenoir will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-2 league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
