The Lee County Bobcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats to 2 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bobcats now have a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estill County for a District 56 game on Friday, September 22. Lee County will confront a Engineers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Frankfort Christian Academy (Frankfort, KY). The Engineers record now stands at 8-9.
The Wildcats (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Jenkins was nudged by Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
