The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) and the visiting Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY), saw Wayne County's volleyball squad beat Campbellsville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Wayne County upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Cardinals host Garrard County (Lancaster, KY) to play the Golden Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Golden Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Garrard County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY)

The Eagles now own a 15-11 record. They play next when they host Warren Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Campbellsville will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 3-14.
