The Carlisle Thundering Herd volleyball team (Carlisle, PA), was edged 2-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA)
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA). The Blazers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Daniel Boone nudged Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Thundering Herd encounter the New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Carlisle will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Colonials come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Dallastown (Dallastown, PA).
