The Centennial Apaches volleyball team (Compton, CA), went down 3-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA)

The Monarchs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Olympians come into the Ocean challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Leuzinger defeated Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Apaches encounter the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Friday, September 22. Centennial will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA).
