The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) and the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC), saw Chester's volleyball squad beat Fairfield Central by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Chester upgrades its record to 4-8 on the year. The Cyclones host York (York, SC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-3. York won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)

The Griffins now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a AA Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 21.
