In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Jackson City Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Morgan County Cougars.

The Tigers (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cordia (Hazard, KY). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Cordia lost by June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 21. Morgan County will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY).
