The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) and the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), saw South Pike's volleyball squad beat Jefferson County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, South Pike upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to East Marion (Columbia, MS) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-5. East Marion won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Salem (Tylertown, MS)

The Tigers now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Natchez for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Jefferson County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
