Illinois High School Volleyball - Kewanee nudged by Mendota

The Kewanee Boilermakers volleyball team (Kewanee, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL)

The Trojans (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Putnam County nipped St. Bede (Peru, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Boilermakers meet the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Kewanee will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Blue Bullets enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 2-1 league win over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL).
