The Nottoway Cougars volleyball team (Nottoway, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA)

The Chargers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes enter the James River challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland was dropped by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a James River challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Nottoway will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
