The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Maplesville Red Devils (Maplesville, AL) and the visiting Notasulga Blue Devils (Notasulga, AL), saw Maplesville's volleyball squad beat Notasulga by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Maplesville upgrades its record to 2-9 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Verbena (Verbena, AL) to play the Red Devils in a 1A Area 7 bout on Friday, September 22. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. Notasulga will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Central (Hayneville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
