The Whitwell Tigers topped the host St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Buren County for a A District 5 test on Thursday, September 21. Whitwell will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

The Mountain Lions (1-9) will now prepare for their test against South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, South Pittsburg dropped by Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
